Congratulations to Ryker Cagle for winning 1st place in his division at The Kentucky Opry Saturday night.  He will compete again in April.   



If you have not picked up your Project Graduation contract please see Mrs. Renea today!! Contracts are due by next Thursday March 29!


Any girl needing assistance with hair and/or makeup for prom that wishes to participate in Pampered&Prom needs to see Mrs. Workman as soon as possible to make an appointment.


There is an upcoming volunteer opportunity at the Hickman County Chicken Festival.  Any student needing volunteer hours for college admissions, a club, or an organization, please sign up on the sheets located on Mrs. Melissa Jackson’s door (the Community Education office) by Friday, March 23rd at noon.  


Chamber Leadership students will meet in the old band room during high school lunch THIS Friday, March 23rd.  Lunch WILL be provided.


Turn in photos for the slideshow at Graduation.  The deadline is this Friday, March 23.  Please see Madelyne Reynolds if you have questions.


The late registration deadline to register for the April 14th ACT is Friday, March 23rd.  Register online at www.act.org.  The cost is $46 plus a $29.50 late fee.  Juniors & seniors on free/reduced lunch may request a fee waiver to cover the cost of the basic registration fee (only 2 fee waivers total can be used) but must still pay the late fee.  Sophomores & juniors wanting to take dual credit courses next year - if you  haven’t met benchmarks you need to take the April ACT.



Jr. Beta members please turn in your zoo permission forms to Mrs. Kelly by this Friday Mar. 23!



Chamber Leadership All-Day Field Trip permission forms are due to Mrs. Melissa Jackson no later than noon on Thursday, March 29th.


The local scholarship application is available in the guidance office and needs to be turned back into the guidance office by the end of the day on Thursday, March 29th.


The Kentucky Personnel Cabinet is sponsoring a Public Service Recognition Poster Contest centered on the theme of “Great people doing great jobs.” First place winners in each category receive a $50 award, second place winners receive $25, and third place $10. KET is sponsoring their annual Young Writer’s Contest and students in grades 7 and 8 are eligible to submit poetry.  The deadline for participation is March 30.  For more info, see Mrs. Stairs or visit KET.org/writerscontest.


Yearbook applications are available in the office for anyone that would like to apply to be on the 2018/19 yearbook staff.


Hickman County 4-H Camp will be July 16-July 20.  Any student who is interested in going to camp this year, needs to come by Mrs. Melissa  Jackson’s office and pick up a form before the last day of school.
