Congratulations to the following FCCLA Officers for 2018-2019: President- Gabby Collins, First Vice-President- Harlee Byassee, VP of Finance- Lauren Pittman, VP of Public Relations- Richard Bell, VP of Community Service- Leigh Anne Jones and Hannah Causer, VP of STAR Events- Brandi Hornback.

 

Congratulations to the HS Beta Officers for 2018-2019:  President-Bobbi Crumble, Vice-President-Brandi Hornback, Secretary-Isabella Buckingham, Treasurer- Hannah Carroll, Community Service-Beth Moon/Lauren Pittman, Activities/Food-Riley Barber.

 

Congrats to Jackson Midyett and Parker Estes for being recognized by KHSAA for the new Triple Threat Award.  This award recognizes athletes who play a sport in all three seasons, fall, winter, and spring.  Over 1700 athletes were recognized by KHSAA this year.  

 

GRADUATION

Everyone is invited to honor our graduating seniors at the Commencement Ceremony tonight at 7 p.m. 

SEMESTER EXAMS

Tests today are 2nd, 4th, and 6th.  Your attendance is required and you can only miss school if you have parent notes.  

 

SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY

KAPS Family Resource Center is in need of 2 high school students interested in helping with 4 days of summer programs in June.  This is a paid opportunity.  If interested, see Mrs. Vickie.

 

4-H CAMP

Hickman County 4-H Camp will be July 16-July 20.  Any student who is interested in going to camp this year, needs to come by Mrs. Melissa Jackson’s office and pick up a form before the last day of school.

 

CALCULATOR RENTALS

If you rented a calculator from KAPS Resource Center, you must turn it in before the end of the school to your math teacher or the Resource Center.

MADD CAMP

Music, Art, Dance, and Drama (MADD) Camp will be held at the elementary school June 25th-29th for 5th-9th graders.  If you would like to attend, please see Mrs. Melissa Jackson for a form.  Permission forms are due by June 1st.

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

Hickman County Relay for Life will be June 2nd from 2:00pm to 9:00 pm. If you would like to help we could sure use you. See Mrs. Suzy in the office.

SUMMER JOBS 

Peerless Premier is hiring for the summer.  To apply, you must go to Peerless and you must be 18 years or older.
