2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR :
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE FOR ALL STUDENTS.
The Hickman County School Food Service offers to all Hickman County students a well-balanced meal at breakfast and lunch. Menus are planned to comply with the USDA requirements, which reduce fat and saturated fat and increase fiber in the diet. The menus for each month should not exceed 30% total fat and 10% saturated fat.
Students K-12 participate in the meal choice “Offer verses Serve”. Five meal components for lunch are offered but a student must choose at least three items. A variety of fruits and vegetables are offered each day. A variety of ala carte foods and drinks are also offered for sale each day.
Breakfast is available to all students. The students are offered four meal components and are required to take three of those components.
Hickman County School Food Service makes every effort to accommodate students with special dietary needs. This includes students with food allergies. The law requires that a doctor’s statement must be on file with the food service director and school cafeteria manager concerning special dietary needs and food allergies. Parents are NOT allowed to bring food to the cafeteria for the food service staff to prepare for individual students. All food served in the cafeteria meets the requirements specified by law, therefore, the only food that can be brought into the cafeteria must be a lunch bag or box.
Family members are encouraged to have lunch and breakfast with students but are asked to notify the school office at least one day in advance. Please do NOT request to visit for lunch when we serve turkey and dressing.

Adult breakfast price: $2.50
Adult lunch price: $3.75.
ADULTS: Adult faculty/staff shall be allowed to charge up to two meals. No charges shall be allowed once that limit is reached.
