HCHS SBDM Parent Elections

The extension office has a tote that sits outside the meeting room entrance at times when no one is in the building. You can also drop your nomination off at the high school and place it in a box that sits on the front steps of the main entrance. If you would like to submit your nomination electronically please email to Melissa Goodman at mgoodman@uky.edu . Feel free to nominate yourself, or if you know someone who would be a good candidate, please encourage that person to run.

After the deadline on May 13, all nominations will be posted on the HCHS website, announced via OneCall, and published in the HC Times. Due to the COVID-19, all voting will then be conducted via Melissa Goodman’s email at mgoodman@uky.edu .Once nominations are posted, parent voting will be conducted through May 22 at 3 p.m.

If you will have a child enrolled at Hickman County High School next year, you are eligible to vote in the election.  (This includes parents, step-parents, and foster parents.  Legal guardians are also eligible to vote if the child lives in their homes.)  I urge every parent to participate in this important decision about the future of our children’s school.

Results will be announced (and a run-off election will be scheduled if necessary) on May 21, 2020 in the school office and via email.
