Pajama Day—bring a blanket and curl up with a good book as we celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday !

- Our StoryFest Family Reading Night
will be February 28th at 6:00. More information will be sent home
separately about the sessions.
Please join us for a fun evening!
- Accelerated Reader: Our
goal for the week is to read 6
million words!
- Guest Readers- classes will
be inviting guest readers throughout the week. Retired teachers from KEA will visit k-3rd
grade Wednesday and bring along the Cat in the Hat with prizes for
students.
- Character Parade- Students
are encouraged to dress as a favorite book character on Tuesday and bring
the book to the parade.
- DEAR time: Students will be given time to read each
day at 2:00 for Drop Everything And Read time.
These activities are designed to share the love of reading and explore as many books as possible. Please read with your child each day and encourage them to participate in the “I Love to READ !” week activities.
