Announcements

 

  • Mrs. Ham will tutor on Tuesday instead of Monday next week, November 24.
  • Congratulations to the 8th grade boys’ basketball team on their district win over Fulton City.  Go Falcons!!!
  • The junior high basketball teams will play against Heath Monday night.  Game time is 5:00 p.m.  The game is away, starting with the seventh grade boys, followed by the eighth grade girls, and ending with the eighth grade boys.  The boys’ bus will leave at 3:45.
  • Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be here today.  They will be available for pick up by parents starting at noon.  All doughnuts must be taken by the end of the day.  We are NOT responsible for unclaimed doughnuts and will not refund any money to the people who ordered them.
  • Jr. Beta Club will meet 6th period today in the cafeteria.  The meeting will be called.
  • Next play practice will be Monday November 23 right after school.
  • Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be arriving this morning.  All Science Club members who sold can have someone pick up their orders starting at noon.  All orders must be collected by end of the school day.
  • The annual Red/White basketball night will be this evening, starting at 6:00 p.m.  All ballplayers will participate along with the cheerleaders.  Concessions will be available.  Admission will be $1.00.  Go Falcons!!!!
  • Beta Club students: Don’t forget to bring your two canned good items to Mrs. Fisk’s room by today and check the new schedule for peer tutoring days.
  • There will be an informational meeting on November 23rd regarding a 2011 trip to England and Ireland.  All interested students, parents, or faculty are invited to attend.  The meeting will be at 5:30 in the Art Room at the Elementary School. If there are any questions regarding the meeting please contact Mr. Harrison.
  • The cheerleaders will be sponsoring a Sadie Hawkins Dance tonight immediately following the Red and White game (approximately 9:00 p.m. - midnight). A Sadie Hawkins Dance is where girls ask the guys. Dress is casual, and dates wear matching shirts. Admission is $5 per student. Refreshments and picture packages will be available for purchase.
  • G.T. students who are going to Martin Monday:  Don’t forget to bring money for lunch.

 

Lunch:  Chili, pimento cheese sandwich, deli sandwich, apple sauce, chef’s salad, brownies, milk

 

Monday’s Breakfast:  Danish roll, fruit, juice, milk
