Welcome to Hickman County High School. My vision, as principal of HCHS, is to prepare students to be the best they can be, whether they enjoy academics, athletics, or both. In addition, I will strive to create a climate where students feel safe and challenged at the same time as we continue to become a model school for our area. Hickman County High School is rated as distinguished among schools in Kentucky and recognized as a High Performing School. These are accomplishments that the staff and students of HCHS have worked hard to achieve, and ones for which we will continue to strive.
The custodial and cafeteria staff, transportation department, faculty, and administration are ready for another successful school year for each student. Our district Emergency Operations Plan is a model plan for schools throughout Kentucky; therefore, security of students and staff is a very high priority. Together with parents and the community, we will work to increase student achievement and have students prepared for life after high school graduation.
The Falcon Academy has become the model program for the state of Kentucky providing our students with the best head start to college. Our goal is to have our students college and/or career ready ensuring they make a successful transition to productive citizenship. We are proud that other schools and districts look to Hickman County as a pioneer in this endeavor.
