Mission Statement

            My mission as a teacher is fulfill my teaching responsibilities to the best of my ability.  These responsibilities are three-fold.  First of all, I have a responsibility to my students.  Each student is entitled to a learning environment free from ridicule, where different ways of problem-solving are not only tolerated, but celebrated.  Students deserve the best from me, every day.  It is my responsibility to be creative and to reach those students who seem to be unreachable. 

            The second responsibility is to the families of my students.  Each parent/guardian is entitled to timely updates and reports on their student along with an opportunity to air any grievances or express any concerns they may have.  They also deserve to hear positive comments about their student. 

            A third area of responsibility that I bear is in my relationships with my fellow teachers and to administration.   I owe it to them to be professional and to do my job without excuses.
